History:
Raiders of Asura is a raiding group that formed on the old Corinthia RP-PVP server in 2008. We formed due to the fact that hardly any guild was large enough to do raids on their own. After the merger we kept on raiding together because we kinda grew into a happy bunch of raiders and had to much fun to stop. Today we are looking for new blood to fill our ranks.

Information:

We activly raid T1, T2 instances succesfully each week. In T2 we do wing 1, wing 2 and wing 3 on a regular basis now.

We raid mainly on Mondays and Wednesdays but some extra raids are put up on fridays and weekends for our T2-wing 2,3 raids depending on if raidleaders can be on at those days.

We don't care if you belong to a guild or not and will accept anyone who is willing to abide by the rules below.

We use DKP system to divide loot and this means in short that active raiders will get loot first. If however situations arise where you are the only class, you will ofcourse get the loot if there is one. We don't trash loot just because someone doesn't have points. Last, most old members already have most gear so as a new member you will have a large chance to get loot.

Raiding rules:

Raid starts

If you will be late, camp outside the instance entrance ahead of time.
If you might be late, camp outside the entrance ahead of time.
If you're going to be on time but not do anything else with your char before the raid, camp outside the entrance ahead of time.
You get the idea.
If you've signed up for a raid and fail to appear, drop the raid leader a message explaining why. Repeated failure to appear will lead to consequences.

During raids

Raids can last up to four hours, no more, most of the time less. Depending on what we're raiding and how efficient we are up to short breaks (5-10 minutes) will be announced for you to relieve yourselves, and chew on cancer sticks or whatever else you may fancy. These are usually before boss encounter.

If you have to go afk for awhile, announce so in the raid channel and visualize your absence by sitting or lying down or leaning against a nearby wall. Being away for a lengthy time might cause you to miss out on loot and/or get kicked if we need your spot. Being afk during boss encounters is not acceptable.

Chain of command

Suggestions, questions and concerns are always welcome, but the raid leader's final word is law.
Every raid member has to be present in the Ventrilo channel during the entire raid. Lacking access to a mic is acceptable but discouraged. If a hearing disorder prevents you from using Ventrilo properly, talk to the raid leader and we'll work something out.

Looting

Minimum price is always 20 dkp.
If two (or even three) needs the dropped item, we have a bidding system.
New raiders can bid with the dkp they have earned during the raid. For a Kylikkie raid that means 20dkp, Vistrix dkp, Yahkmar dkp.
Regular raiders: Before bidding the dkp stats for every bidder is read aloud in vent. Bidders can then send the appointed bid receiver a tell with the bid. Highest bid wins.

In short - Our DKP system is made to favour those who raid a lot.

Yahkmar Fur – always cost 20 dkp. Looting order: 1-Ranger, 2-Guardian/DT and 3-others that need the quest.

DKP-rules:

SignUp Bonus – 5dkp

OnTimeBonus – (5 dkp) On time screenshot is taken exactly at the set raid start time. Anyone not outside the instance will not be credited OnTimeBonus (outside instance - Kyllikki and Vistrix, inside instance - Yahkmar and BRC). People being asked to come on another character than they signed up with are excluded.

Boss – (10 dkp) Screenshot is taken when boss is down. All T1 bosses give 10 dkp.

StayingToEnd Bonus – 5dkp Screenshot is taken directly after the raid leader announce the end of the raid.

Speed Bonus of d00m! – 10-20dkp For a flawless performance. It’s up to the raid leader to decide when to deal out the bonus.

Last, if a loot is offered to you but you know that you shouldn't have it. Decline!
